Photografic contest

Corrado Gex Ski Club is glad to organise a Photographic Contest under the name of PhotoAlpArvier 2024 which aims at valorising and promoting 2024 Millet Tour du Rutor Extreme, international ski mountaineering competion, under all the different perspectives: from the athletes to the volunteering work and the natural mountain environment where it takes place. 

ART. 1 – PARTICIPATION AND ENROLMENT
The participation to the contes is free and it is open to all photo lovers no matter what their nationality is. The volunteers working on the event won’t be accepted. This contest is not subject to the ministerial authorisation according to D.P.R. n. 430 of 26/11/2001, art. 6. The participation to the contest is subordinated to the enrolment through a form that has to be filled in on the website www.tourdurutor.com, in the section dedicated to the contest. Those who will enrol by March 18nd will have the chance to collect their pass at the race office which will give them the right to attend the briefing and, possibily, at the discretion of the organisation, the approaching by helicopter. The photos will have to be sent to the organisation by We Transfer and mailed at info@tourdurutor.com by April 07th 2024.

ART. 2 – OBJECT OF THE CONTEST
The pictures will have to be taken on the field during the four days of race, from 22th March to 24th March 2024. The subject is a choice of the participants. We ask each contestant to write a short required description of the photos taken. Each photographer will have to send a minimum of 10 shots to maximum of 15.

ART. 3 – DIGITAL PHOTOS FORMAT
Pictures must be JPEG, other types will not be accepted. We suggest you not to send files that are too large or anyway that are superior to 5 MB. 

ART. 4 – RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTESTANTS AND USE OF THE DIGITAL MATERIALS SENT BY THEM
Each photographer, holder of all the rights of the original picture, is personally responsible for the works he presents. The participant retains the property of the pictures sent for the contest, but he hands over for free the rights for the unlimitate use of the picture to the organisation of the contest, who can publish and release them on magazines, newspapers websites and whichever other media and advertising support. Each participant is civilly and criminally responsible for his work. Under no circumstances the pictures sent will contain any information qualifying as sensitive data.

ART. 5 – JURY
The Jury is composed by 4 members who are competent in the field.

ART. 6 – AWARDS
The results of the Photo Contest will be published online in its dedicated section on the website tourdurutor.com by May 31th 2024, after having sent a communication via mail to the winners. The best shots will be used as part of the permanent exhibit which will take place in the roads of Arvier borough in summer 2023. The contest will be considered valid with at least 5 contestants applying. The best 3 photographers will be awarded with a prize in money of 600.00 euros to the highest ranked, 400.00 to the second one and 200.00 to the third.
