PhotoAlp Arvier. On 4th August, the photographic exhibition featuring the Tour du Rutor, one of the most spectacular ski mountaineering races in the Alps, has been inaugurated in the streets of the village.

Many images were taken in 2022 in the memory of the Millet Tour du Rutor Extreme 2020, which in the last edition was also the setting for the Ski Mountaineering Long Distance World Championship in pairs. The 20th edition of the ski mountaineering race - the only Italian stage 2022 of La Grande Course, the international circuit of the most prestigious races in the Alps and the Pyrenean Mountains - took place in 2022 among the municipalities of Arvier, Valgrisenche and La Thuile.

In addition to being a highly technical race, it is also an opportunity for many mountain lovers to rediscover untouched places.
