Comunication N. 9 – An epic 18th edition ends today under the rain

Matteo Eydallin won for the fourth time, whereas it is the first time for Michele Boscacci who in Planaval also officially won the overall World Cup and who won the TDR as his father did 15 years ago. Among the women the French team composed by Laetitia Roux – Axelle Mollaret didn’t let any hope to their adversary with 3 success in a row.


After a morning of no big surprises, the first to cross the finishing line were the French William Bon Mardion – Xavier Gachet in 1h33’33”, followed by the Swiss Remi – Bonnet – Martin Anthamatten (1h33’39”), whereas the third place of the day went to the overall winners of the 18th edition Michele Boscacci – Matteo Eydallin (1h33’58”). The final rank sees them winning with a time of 6h51’50”, preceding the Swiss and the French Bon Mardion – Gachet.


Axelle Mollaret e Laetitia Roux: they are the queens of TDR winning with an overall time of 8h43’17”. Second place for Jennifer Fiechter and Séverine Pont Combe in 8h56’23”, third place for Elena Nicolini and Laura Besseghini in 9h08’57”.


Great performance for the cadets Sébastien e Fabien Guichardaz. The twins won all three legs preceding Giovanni Rossi – Marcello Muscetti and Alessandro Gadola – Federico Gusmeroli. Among the girls the strongest were the French-Marie Borriglione e Justine Tonso.

Always the French among the juniors with Simon Bellabouvier – Samuel Equy who preceded Davide Magnini – Nicolò Canclini and Fabio Pettinà – Enrico Loss. Among the girls Melanie Ploner – Giorgia Felicetti are the leaders of la Grande Course and they beat Elisa Pedrolini – Alessia Re and Silvia Rivero – Martina Sirigu.
